Access Permits

You must have the proof of purchase (yellow paper) from your trail permit in your possession at all times and be prepared to display it (with proof of insurance – pink paper) to a Trail Warden or Police Officer as proof that you are circulating legally on the trails (Act respecting Off Highway Vehicles, article 38, 7). Take note that the sticker is not sufficient !

Permit prices for 2017-2018 Season

The trailpermit prices include the cost of the mandatory liability insurance, of 500 000$, under the terms of article 19 of the Act respecting Off-Highway Vehicles, as well as the applicable taxes.

$315 for an annual trail permit purchased on or before December 9, 2016
$385 for an annual trail permit purchased after December 9, 2016
$560 for a annual trail permit sold on trail ***
$215 for a 7-day trail permit. The 7 day permit cannot be sold on trail.
$130 for a 3-day trail permit. The 3 day permit cannot be sold on trail.
$60  for a 1-day trail permit. The 1 day permit cannot be sold on trail.
$570 for an annual trail permit for a rental snowmobile.
$230 for an annual trail permit for an “Antique” snowmobile (1998 or older). The annual trail permit for “Antique” snowmobile  cannot be sold on trail.

ATTENTION:  Buy your trail permit before you ride.  An extra $170  is added to the annual trail permit when sold on trail.

Replacement Permit

Replacement permits may be purchased from  any selling point for $30 (with the exception of the Antique permit) . To receive a replacement permit, the original trail permit or portion thereof plus the matching trail permit receipt must be given back.

Replacement permits may be purchased for thirty dollars ($30), ideally at the club the original permit was purchased from. In order to receive a replacement permit, the receipt and sticker of the trail permit issued for the original snowmobile must be presented to the seller.

Please note that a trail permit cannot be transferred to another owner. It can only be transferred from one snowmobile to another belonging to the same owner (for example, in the case of a sale followed by a purchase).
