Club Hibou Blanc is celebrating its 53rd year of providing trails for snowmobiling enthusiasts. In the last 20 years, the club has experienced continued growth of its membership to the present 400 members.
The trail network of 140 km connects the Trans-Québec trail 3 in the Lachute area to Trans-Québec trail 43 at Lac des Seizes-Îes.
One of the Club’s missions is to provide excellent trails. It does so with their 2 groomers.
Emergency Evacuation Service, through 911 is available on all the club’s trails for the safety of snowmobilers. The Sûreté du Québec and the Club work in close collaboration to make snowmobiling safe.
The Club is very appreciative to the many volunteers who give their time to make our Club successful.
New Emergency Evacuation Service
The Emergency Evacuation unit previously located in the municipality of Wentworth-Nord will be transferred to Harrington to provide service in the event of road accidents in the Grenville-sur-la-Rouge and Harrington area. It is managed by a protocol of agreement with the MRC d’Argenteuil, the Club Hibou Blanc and the municipality of Harrington; it is equipped to provide service 24/7 for those enjoying outdoor activities and the forestry industry. It is activated by a call to “911”. The result of this change means that the entire MRC will have Evacuation Service. This was made possible through a collaboration of Club Hibou Blanc, the MRC d’Argenteuil and the municipalities making this an effective partnership.
The municipality of Wentworth-Nord has concluded an agreement with the municipality of Morin Heights and will have Emergency service provided by them.
